ASC’s Rock the Race Raises $55,000
The Ann Storck Center’s 3rd Annual Rock The Race: A Kentucky Derby Bash was held at Passion Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino on Saturday, May 7. Approximately $55,000 was raised to benefit the programs and services of the Ann Storck Center. The action packed fun-filled event, which has become one of the Center’s signature events, featured mint juleps, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and a large screen that displayed the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby. Guests even had a chance to decorate their own one-of-a-kind Derby hat.
“Derby Day was a great success for the Ann Storck Center. It brought people together to help support our organization,” said Charlotte Mather-Taylor, Executive Director, Ann Storck Center.
The event was co-chaired by Susan Renneisen of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and member of the Ann Storck Center’s Board of Directors together with Alyssa Lovitt of Timpano Italian Chop House and Kathy Keleher of the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
“We are so happy to have been able to raise funds for this very worthy cause,” said Renneisen.
