Held Friday, May 19, 2006
at the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern
University. With Special Guest South Florida Radio Personality Judy T.
The
Arts in Motion and
Fine Art Program collaborate to share the expression of art, music, movement, and creativity for individuals at the Ann Storck Center through Expressive Arts.
Some artists create their own lyrics, while others accompany with instruments of their choice. Our first event was so successful, our Participants, families, and friends decided to make the performance an annual event.
Expressive Arts allows our Participants/Artists to experience the joy, enthusiasm of all involved. Read and see pictures from previous performances by clicking on one of the programs to the left.
On October 22, 2002, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners presented the Expressive Arts Program with the 2002 Disability Awareness Award for Most Innovative Project by Local Private Industry!
This award demonstrates an outstanding contribution to our community. Through Fine Art, Arts in Motion, and Music Therapy, Participants have continued to expand upon their abilities to create through this dynamic therapeutic intervention.
