13th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction
12th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction

(Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) – More than 300 children and adults with severe and multiple developmental disabilities depend on the Ann Storck Center for their care and well being.  Their dreams for continued support came closer to reality thanks to the over $400,000 raised from the Making Dreams Come True 14th Annual Ann Storck Center Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction.  Not a single eye was dry as the nearly 500 event attendees listened to the videotaped stories of people touched by the Center.  Roz Perlmutter, who served as chair of the event for the third year in a row, shared her own personal story of how her family has been touched by the Ann Storck Center.

Joan Ast, Pat Turner and Marge Osceola served as co-chairs of the evening held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.  More than 75 companies and individuals provided financial support to the event.

“This event has become the cornerstone of the Ann Storck Center’s ability to continue to provide qualitative interventions for the children and adults who depend on us every day,” said Jim McGuire, executive director of the Ann Storck Center.  “The generous support of so many people allows us to help fund the programs and services required by those we serve.”
