Qualifications for
Job:
èHigh
School Diploma or GED
èLift
50 pounds repetitively,
kneel, bend and squat
èSuccessfully
pass criminal background
checks, drug screening,
physical examination,
reference check and drivers
license check (if
applicable)
Duties:
èDaily
Care: Assist with feeding,
bathing changing and other
areas of personal care.
èResident
Interaction: Engage
residents in social
interactions & activities
and other areas of
activities.
èBehavior:
Follow individual behavior
programs as provided by our
Certified Behavior Analysts.
èTraining:
Assisting our residents to
be as independent as
possible by teaching them
daily life skills.
èHousekeeping:
Laundry, sweeping, mopping
and other housekeeping
tasks.
èMiscellaneous:
you may be requested to
shop, cook meals and give
residents medication. You
may also
be
required to work with
residents with severe
medical needs.
èOther
duties as assigned.
Weekend
Working Requirements:
You will be
required to work 3 weekends
out of the month, on BOTH
Saturdays & Sundays…no
exceptions.
You will
always get 2 days off every
week but the days off will
fall on weekdays for 3 of
the 4 weeks in the month.
Orientation:
IF YOU ARE
HIRED you will be REQUIRED
TO ATTEND an orientation
training week. Orientation
days and hours are as
follows:
èMonday,
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8:30am- 5:00pm
èWednesday
is an in house observation
day and you will be working
either 1st or 2nd
shift in the house that you
were hired into.
èYou
are paid for orientation.
