RN Supervisor

The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising LPNs and providing hands-on nursing services to ensure the health needs of all individuals served are identified and met. The Registered Nurse will support the physicians in the implementation of medical services. This position is also responsible to help ensure compliance with regulating governing agencies.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to help ensure compliance with regulating governing agencies.

  • Assists Nursing Management to optimize the health status of all individuals by direct assessment, record review, & LPN supervision.

  • Supervises the implementation and monitoring of nursing services to assure compliance with governing regulations.

  • Ensures the residents/participants receive correct medications,  adhering to the 6 rights of medication administration.

  • Monthly Nursing Unit and equipment audit.

  • Must be flexible with scheduling to ensure individual health needs are met and to keep overtime to a minimum (staff coverage, hospitalizations, consultant visits, etc.).


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree in Nursing, BSN preferred

  • Two years of supervisory experience.

  • Current Nursing License (RN) from the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulations.

  • One year of experience preferred.

  • Experience of working in a Group Home or ICF setting is a plus!

  • Must pass Level II Background, Drug screening, PPD, and Physical
