2019 Strike Night: The Ann Storck Center Community Bonds Over Bowling
Residents of Ann Storck Center’s (ASC) group homes and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) enjoyed bowling, pizza and fun with friends, donors, supporters and staff of Ann Storck Center at Strike Night. Eleven lanes were adorned with blue balloons, sponsor swag bags and festive spirits at SpareZ Bowling in Davie.
“This is a unique event because the community has the opportunity to connect with the employees and individuals we serve at Ann Storck Center,” said Elizabeth Clarke, special events and volunteer manager at ASC. “It was a fun, laid-back atmosphere, perfect for bonding over a few friendly games of bowling.”
The event was generously sponsored by Brown & Brown Insurance, Centennial Bank, McKinley Insurance Services, Summit-Questa Montessori School, Michael Clarke, Charlotte Mather-Taylor, Georgia Pig, and The Vila Family.
While all participants of Strike Night were considered winners, the Summit-Questa Montessori School team received the highest bowling score and won the prize medals, generously donated by Lou Scalia’s Awards. It was also an exciting night for five raffle winners who went home with gift cards from restaurants like Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Bonefish Grill.
