nurses (lpn & rn)
The Nurse is responsible for supporting providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) in the provision of patient care, including but not limited to recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing, and administering injections; assisting with procedures and documentation.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Ensures the residents/participants receive correct medications, correlating doctor’s orders, MAR, and Medication Card.

Ensures that medications are administered properly and in a timely manner, following doctor’s orders.

Monitors therapeutic positioning, Range of Motion, and Maladaptive Behaviors, with any needed interventions.

Counts and records narcotics and other controlled substances at the beginning and end of each shift.

Ensures proper nursing documentation and record-keeping for optimum clinical intervention, including but not limited to: Accurately completing MAR entries; Accurately transcribing doctor’s orders and Individual Record Notes

Submits accurate and timely reports for nursing assessments, tracking forms, etc.

Observe and record the therapeutic effect of drugs and report unusual responses to the doctor.
FORT LAUDERDALE SHIFTS:
-
Day - 6 am-2:30 pm
-
Evening - 2 pm-10:30 pm
-
Overnight - 10 pm - 6:30 am
-
12 hr - 6 am - 6:30 pm OR 6 pm - 6:30 am
PEMBROKE PINES SHIFTS:
-
Day - 7 am-3:30 pm.

Evening - 3 pm-11:30 pm
-
Overnight - 11 pm - 7:30 am
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-
Associates degree in Nursing
-
Current and Active State of Florida License as an LPN / RN
-
One year of experience is preferred.

Experience working in a Group Home or ICF setting is a plus!

Must pass Level II Background, Drug screening, PPD, and Physical
PRN Requirements:
-
Must work a minimum of 3 holidays per year ($5 differential)
-
Must work every other weekend
Salary: $26.00/ hr. FT
PRN Salary: LPN $30.00/hr. ; RN $35.00/hr.
Location: Fort Lauderdale & Pembroke Pines
